Find your
inner compass.

One on one spiritual conversation — for those who are doing fine on paper, yet feel disconnected from their sense of purpose, peace, or direction. This is not advice from a distance. It is a place to reflect — to see beyond the thoughts and feelings that so often engulf us — with someone who has walked through the dark and found the light was never lost.

Why I do this

Because the journey
is a lonely one.

I do this because I know how difficult, confusing, and lonely the journey can get — when the real self, deeply embedded underneath the world self, is hard to access or even recognize, and so is the very idea of God.

I've always been drawn to the deeper conversation — not fixing a problem, but sitting with a person who is going through something hard. I've spent much of my life at the meeting point of psychology and spirituality, and I've been through my own share of loss, separation, and the falling apart of a life I thought I understood. I know that ground from the inside.

What I've learned is that a hard time is often more than just a hard time. Somewhere in it, there is usually a question waiting — the same one I asked at five and finally heard answered years later, in a jail cell. Who am I, underneath all of this? Most of us are never more open to that question than when everything familiar has fallen away.

I came to understand something about pain that I could not have understood without going through it: suffering is optional, pain is not. Pain is real. But suffering — the story we tell about the pain, the demand that it should not be — that is something we can loosen. That is much of what we do together.

I write about all of this more fully in my reflections →

Honestly

Is this
for you?

This may be for you if

  • You are in the middle of a hard passage and sense there is something in it beyond the pain to be survived
  • You are doing fine on paper, yet feel cut off from purpose, peace, or direction
  • You are drawn to the deeper question — who am I, underneath all of this?

This may not be, if

  • You are in crisis or need clinical care right now — that comes first
  • You are looking for therapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment
  • You want advice from a distance rather than a conversation

How I work

Few people,
full attention.

Not a clinician

This is not advice, and it is not therapy. It is a place to reflect, and to see beyond the thoughts and feelings that so often engulf us. Where what you carry calls for clinical care, I will say so and help you find it.

At your pace

One-to-one conversations, unhurried. We look for steadiness while things are still unresolved — and, if you wish, the quieter inquiry into who is living through it all.

Honest about fit

I take on few people, and only where I feel I can genuinely help. If I'm not the right person for you, I'll say so.

How it works

Simple,
and personal.

I

Share where you are

A short intake form — what's going on, and what you hope to move through.

II

I read it myself

Every form comes to me personally, not routed through a team.

III

A conversation, if you'd like

You can ask for a free 30-minute exploration call in the form — no commitment, just a chance to talk it through. Or we begin over writing, whichever suits you.

The intake

A few
questions.

A few questions to help me understand where you are and what kind of support would help. It takes about five minutes, and I read every response myself.

Thank you.

This has come straight to me. I read every response myself, and I'll be in touch soon — and if you asked for an exploration call, I'll write to find a time that works.
